Two friends with wildly different histories, yet shared hobies and interests, discovered a shared desire to produce online content to both educate and entertain...simultaneously whenever possible! Knowing that good content can only come by forging a strong foundation, owners Larry Kastriba and Jim Norcross set out to create Attic Light Productions as a multi-facetied production company looking to produce multi-media largely based on their love of nostaligia and escape. Join us on the journey!
At the start, the guys created and launched a YouTube channel knwon as 80's Allies. Their early adventures were a proof of concept designed to direct their creatve energies in to the final format of the show that is being produced today. As they were moving full steam along....a looming threat shut them down - along with the rest of the world! COVID stopped forward momentum in its tracks...but also offered an opportunity. Super Star Wrestling, a local independend pro-wrestling organization, desired to rally the troops to entertain their fans while they were stuck at home...but had no way to do that. Enter Attic Light, who would produce 8 shows for YouTuve over the course of the lockdown. The company continues to produce content for backstage segments for the company to this day.
In the post pandemic world, Attic Light is moving full speed towards all the goals and dreams set out for ourselves. Currently, 80's Allies is in its second season and always looking for form relationships with small businesses that are nostalgia based. Several Podcasts are about to launch, including "The Fix Is In," an educational podcast on the history of pro-wrestling and how it has evolved over the years, "Black Man, Blue Uniform" which follows the career of an African American police officer in modern day America, and "Behind The Redlight;" an unflinching view of prostitution in the US - specifically the legal brothel system in Nevada...through the 20 year adventur of a customer! Keep checking the site for continual updates.
The Guys are back with a new season! Jim takes us on a tour of RetroCon and has an exclusive interview with the creator of Boglins, Tim Clarke. Adrian is tasked with reviewing the Pac Man cartoon to see ifit held up, and LarMan tries to resolve a family dispute between The Masked Mullet and The Blue Flamer in this episodes PSA....but danger looms around the corner!
